This past Sunday we visited Steve and Lara's church, Eternal. We really liked it and they were having a picnic after service so we decided to go! Steve and Lara's little boy Landon is right at the same age as Mason and they play really well together. The picnic was like most church picnics the church provides the meat (Hot Dogs and BBQ) and everyone else brings something as a side item. I was nervous when I drove up because there wasn't a playground and I thought ...Oh no, what are the boys going to do? Its hot and there is not a play ground to distract them but just as we were finishing lunch Mason and Landon waited in eager anticipation to join the other kids on the crazy big slip n slide.
Chris and Steve took their place on the opposite side to watch the boys as they played on the slide while I tried out my new camera! I was so excited to have something to take pictures of!! And it turns out the boys were good subjects!

Good thing the slide was almost ready they were both wanting BOTH pine cones!

Mason took off right away, he was soo fast it was hard to even get good pics of him!

After sliding some he started to run down the grass so he wouldn't slip then he would run back up and run and slip and slide!

His poor shorts kept falling down the whole time!

This is a typical serious Mason face!

They had a big bucket with sponges for the little kids to play in

I just was playing around with the camera here...look at that water pouring out! Pretty neat!

The boys thought it was soo fun to be IN the little tub!

Every time Landon saw that I was aiming the camera at him he'd give this big cheese!

We had so much fun and Mason had a blast we thought for sure he'd be ready to take a nap but NO...he just played some more in his crib.
